Volunteers play a critical role in helping the Bethel Land Trust achieve its mission of protecting the lands and waters that define our community and enrich our quality of life. From trail maintenance to stuffing envelopes with our annual mailers, the land trust is dependent on the donated time and effort of our volunteers. We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities, and believe every person has something valuable to offer.
There are many ways to get involved – whether you want to volunteer for an hour or two, or you’re looking to jump into a longer term project. Every minute is appreciated, and every second you spend with Bethel Land Trust has an impact.
Our biggest need is trail care. We are looking for trail care partners—a civic, church or social group, for instance, which wants to care for a favorite trail on an annual basis. Other activities like boundary marking, preserve inspections, Scouts projects, administrative support—and yes, even website upkeep—are all welcomed.
